i {heart} bumbos…

Bumbo chairs are the greatest baby invention ever! Boston is just starting to hold his head up and now can sit in his BUMBO! It is so cute to see his little body sitting there. You can tell he loves being able to see a different view of the world. Love this little guy:)

p.s. I’ve added a few more pics to flickr…enjoy!

I was starting to loose my faith in my Baby Wise book. Boston has been sleeping 8 hours here and there over that last 2 weeks, which is good for a 11 week old baby – but still Abby was sleeping 10 to 12 hours at this age! And according to my book that is what Boston should be doing too. Granted they say boys seem to take longer to sleep thru the night…which is interesting – I wonder why!?!? But I am please to say he has slept 9 hours the last 3 nights and 10 hours last night…YAHOO! He woke up so happy this morning. So proud of this little guy! At times I was thinking maybe this just won’t work for him. I wanted to give up and not keep up with it, but I’m soooo glad I hung in there. My sister, Hailey kept telling me it will happen just be patient. I did it and it was well worth it…and now I’m reaping the reward…SLEEP!

Gordon B. Hinckley…

a beloved prophet.

I was saddened by the news we received last night of the prophet’s passing. Yet, at the same time felt extreme peace and joy. He had accomplished his work on this earth and done what the Lord wanted of him. He had dedicated his life to serving the church and what a magnificent job he did. What a beautiful reunion he must be having with his dear wife and all those welcoming him into heaven. I have always held this man close to my heart and will never forget the strength, warmth, peace, love, humility, spirituality, happiness, dilegence and acceptance he has shown. He has strengthed my testimony, made me aware of my divine role as a mother, taught me the importance of temples, reminded me continually that I am daughter of God, helped me come to know the sciptures and showed me how to find joy in this life. I will truly miss feeling his warm smile and hearing his calming voice.

So, I thought I’d share this song I really like right now, Love Like This by Natasha Bedingfield…

My cute sister, Cecilie had a great idea to have Girl’s Night Out on Friday. We decided to take all our little girls to the UofU gymnastics meet. We only made it to 2 meets last year – so we were super excited to go! Abby loves going to watch Swoop, eat licorice, watch the girls spin on the bars and listen to the band. We had a great time! We had to leave a bit early because it was way past most of the girls’ bedtimes and they were ready to go (the meet started at 7pm – which is Abby’s bedtime). We had a wonderful time…it was so much fun to just be girls, be silly and be together!gymnastics.jpg
