guess these have been around for a bit (pottery barn, anthropology, tutorials on-line, etc.), but i finally got around to making one! totally cheap + easy…and i think i like how it turned out. all you need is an old book, a foam wreath + a glue gun. mine took a little bit longer to make than i thought because i used a 14″ wreath…but i kinda like it bigger. just plan on rolling a lot of pages + burning your fingers a few times!
here’s a link to a tutorial if you want to make one…enjoy!
I love it!! Now I have to make one! I know just where I’d put it too! Thanks for the inspiration!! Also it was fun chatting this morning. I miss you!!
I love it too! Great idea! I wonder if you could use colored paper for the holidays? I might give it a try. Thanks for sharing.
I just remembered, so I have to comment again. When I was growing up, you know, a LOOONG time ago, my mom folded Reader’s Digest magazines, painted them red and put Santa’s head on them. Funny how I just remembered that. Anyway, I love your project.
Really awesome!!! Love it
Oh no way! I need to make one of those for my front door. Thanks Amanda!
Amanda, I just found your blog. I absolutely love your book wreath!!
I love that! I think I am going to have to make one too!
